UPDATE ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skyblock will eventually reset, but its old world will be available for download. How would you guys feel about a Skyblock map reset? I wanted to hear all your opinions on it before I even considered doing anything because I know that some of you have islands you've spent a lot of time on and are over a year old. If I reset Skyblock's map, I will make sure it never needs to be reset again, as I would have Trent fix the mechanism we use to delete inactive islands. The reasons why I think Skyblock may need a reset is because its world is 89 GB (most Minetime servers' worlds are around 1 GB) and it gets major lag spikes when someone creates a new island due to the amount of WorldGuard regions on Skyblock. The island purge feature in our Skyblock plugin usually works, but has not been working recently. If I see that you guys really do not want me to reset Skyblock, I will try my best to find a solution to the lag and will be upgrading Skyblock's hard drive from 128 GB to 512 GB. I am going to be putting up a poll on this thread, but I know that what you guys have to say is also very important (and I will be reading all of it).
No no no no I just spent the past month gathering resources and have finally started my dream island, and I am half way done. It would take me forever if I had to start from scratch. Had 30k when I started getting resource and I am down to 6k.
46.7% yes at this post -.- I'm gonna go cry in a corner now. Thousands of dollars, every penny on every other server traded, and a week of planning and building between 2 people. All wasted now -.-
I think if they reset it at all they should go all out and delete everything. A reset of economy would be good for the server in my opinion. (Maybe fix /baltop)
