@Pile @xKittenCatx @xBMAN The suggestion is that the factions server be based upon the Minecraft 1.8.x build/release instead of the current/new 1.12 release. It would improve compatibility with most of the players including the old brewing system. The majority of the factions players use the 1.8.x or 1.9.x builds and it makes sense to keep support with the majority of the core players. *client support would still be given to players playing newer versions on minecraft* The second suggestion is that along with this we revert to the older version of the Anti Cheat Plugin. The one MineTime factions has always used. The playerbase didn't ask for an anticheat update, or a MC version update and I am confident people will like the change. Please leave support/further suggestions in the comments below.
As said already by xBMAN in other posts, they can't change the AntiCheat because of duplication glitches.
Pretty sure there's a way to fix the duplication glitches with the old anti-cheat. This is just an easier, and simpler way out for the minetime staff.
We already have other resets we need to priorities above factions. In my opinion, factions isn't that bad, it's just much harder. You really need to try for your money, not just afk 6 hours a day and make millions. That's the reason why there aren't many people on, because people don't want to try for their worth. In the future reset, I'd like to see the economy eased up a bit, but not so easy. Just so that more people can play and not feel like it's really hard to make money.
Everything revolves around the economy. The anti-cheat updates on both prison and factions is to keep the server economy from skyrocketing. With these changes, it makes it harder to get money just like @PingPongGamer said above.
DISAGREED, dude by anti-cheat he meant the pvp style, u can only pvp with 1 client and that's crest. I miss when hunting for clients were a thing. Now the only decent client is crest.
The primary worry I had with the economy is that it would become too reliant on Spawners. The last reset, you had people AFK with the spawners all day, not being active in chat. - I would rather have 10 active players in-game than have 30 players with 20 of them being alternate accounts to be left AFK to farm.
You had every right to be. Last reset was far too easy, but I think this one might be a little too hard. For the future reset, I'd reintroduce spawners in the shop, but for a much higher price. If I'm not wrong, I believe zombie spawners were 250,000 last reset, for the future reset make it 750,000 and so on, I guess just triple the prices of what spawners used to be. Make it so that there's a little more money in the economy (not too much) but prices stay the same. I do find mining diamonds and farming nether warts very, very boring.
No support, if they changed it back then the game play would be ruined for you and many other players.
If they ever found a solution of the bugs and the duping glitches then i would be happy to change my decision.
Thank you for creating this suggestion thread. We appreciate the feedback but have decided not to implement this suggestion. Regards, The Staff
