Hello Minetimers, I am excited to announce to Prison server reset. The reset is ready and will be live on Minetime on Tuesday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m. CST. Basically everything will reset except for your donator ranks. This means that balances, prison ranks, homes, mcMMO etc. will reset. Here are some of the changes: New inescapable PvP arena underneath spawn (sneak peek; clear area is barrier blocks) Duplication and all other major glitches fixed Creeper spawning/explosions (block damage) enabled Updated to full 1.8 (this also means 1.8 freeworld; 1.7 clients won't be able to connect) Slight aesthetic changes around spawn (especially to warp room) You will be able to spectate the new PvP arena with /warp spectate. Typing /warp pvp will take you into the spectator area (safe area) where you can right-click a sign to actually enter the PvP area. If you want to bypass the sign and warp directly into the arena, you can type /warp pvp-inarena. You will still be able to use the old PvP arena at /warp pvp-old. I have decided not to put golden apples back in the shop, as this can make PvP exhausting. I am also keeping the fix all cooldown, modified nether wart growth etc. as these things are the way they are for a reason. No cooldown on fix all means unfair or extremely long-lasting PvP battles, and unmodified nether wart growth can inflate the server's economy quickly (users end up with over $1 billion). Economic inflation is also the reason why I don't add mines for Freeman, Citizen, etc.. I am considering adding a new donator package to prison in the extras section of the webstore. This means that the package would be completely separate from donator ranks. I know it isn't as easy to get enchanted golden apples since I have removed them from the shop a while ago, so I was thinking maybe an extra package with /kit goldenapple (like on factions). However, I feel like it should have more than just a daily enchanted golden apple. If you have any ideas for what else should be added to this prison extra package, please let me know in this thread. Suggestions don't have to be limited to just kits. I will put the old freeworld up for download once the reset goes live. If you plan on downloading it, I strongly suggest you grab your current base's coordinates before the reset is released so that you can find it in the downloaded map. I think I have covered basically everything. I hope you're all as excited for this badly-needed reset as I am. That is correct. I specifically stated in this thread that not much would change. IMO prison is one Minetime's highest-quality servers and doesn't need much change.
well i was gonna play prison again but since you aren't adding gapples back to the shop i am not going to ;(

8 Gapples-24 hours Or maybe: 8-16 every 48 hours(too op?) Or like the old kit creeper: 8-16 every 72 hours A lot of admins and timeless will get a kit like this and soon it will be op pvp if the kit is like an entire stack. These ideas are just a small boost that give a little extra advantage and nothing more, but idk what you have in mind.
If you want buycraft ideas, /kit warrior 10 gaps with 24 hour cool down. Price like 15$ And /kit bedsky which is wher you pay like 5-10$ and you get a one time use of something that clears a 16x16 spot from bedrock to sky already a plugin I believe. Other than that Thx for fixing the dupes!! <33
This message is to CollinPotato (Collin Love). As stated above (on the first page), I would like some guards on prison. I know that you only handpick them, but maybe you could to a guard application like how you had helper applications. We really need guards that don't abuse their powers and who wouldn't give out the kits. I could name a couple of people.
