As of me writing this post, the prison server will re-open fresh and new in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We didn't make any drastic changes to the server, but did listen to your suggestions and have made the following changes to Prison... Nether wart is now harder to grow. It only has a 65% chance of growing (as opposed to the usual 100% chance) and 50% of the nether wart that does not grow dies and turns into a dead bush. We did this in an effort to improve the economy -- but you can rest assured knowing that you'll still be able to rack in the cash with large nether wart farms. Nether wart needs a light level of at least 9 to grow. We've updated NoCheatPlus to the latest version. Players who hack now have less of an advantage over those who don't and it is no longer possible to do things like vclip. This means that you no longer have to make extremely large and intricate roofs to prevent players from vclipping into your base. We've put a 30-minute cooldown on the /fix and /fix all donator commands so that people can't use them to their advantage while in PvP (well, not more than once). The only commands you can use use to fix items (unless you enjoy a 1-day warmup) are '/fix' and '/fix all'. Any other fix commands like '/fixall' or '/essentials:fix' will not work. We've disabled obsidian generators. We figured that, since we currently have no plans to add the ability for players to be able to destroy obsidian with TNT, we might as well make obsidian even more difficult to obtain. We've added a plugin called TrophyHeads. Now, when you kill a player, there is a 100% chance of their head dropping as an item. Your head will only drop if you are killed by a player. We've also added the ability to get 1 mob head that you wouldn't usually be able to obtain in vanilla Minecraft (don't worry: we enabled slime spawning). It is listed below. Slime head: 1% drop chance Although slime heads are pretty much useless, this makes slime heads arguably the hardest item to obtain on the prison server, as slimes are rare and you will only get a slime head 1% of the time you kill one. This is intended to be a fun incentive for the extremely rich players who have it all. Thanks for your suggestions! Prison will be up very soon!
I'm not very fond of the /fix cooldown timers. They were pretty essential in Prison. Prison was basically another version of OP Factions, excluding the fact that /spawn was a prison, and so on. There aren't that many PvP fights without gapples, so you'd lose a ton of important armor due to the fact that it'd break/almost break, so there won't be any ongoing fights that'll last for around 10-20 minutes. This is a negative but yet positive add-on, but I can't wait for Prison to become online again!
Personally i love all these knew ideas i mean even the nether wart one! But I think fixall was a crucial command in Prison especially when it came to raiding or being raided. Also since there is quite a bit of pvp on the server i think less people will want to due to fixall having a cool down state. With that said the Fixall cool down is my only major concern apart from that everything else is great!
