So I recently pre-ordered an iPhone 6, and now have IOS 8 on my iPad mini. What do you guys think about the new update? I love the new expanded spotlight, it now searches the App Store, which is what i think I'll be using a lot. What I don't like, however, is the Recents bar at the top of the app managment screen (activated by double tapping the home button). Since I'm too lazy to add pictures to my contacts, the default icon just looks a bit, odd.
I don't have or use an apple product, but after seeing one of my friends with one today my favorite feature is being able to reply to texts while in the notification bar. Not having to exit out of apps is a nice addition.
After using it for about a day on my 2nd gen iPad, it feels sluggish. Other than that there are a few new features I like.
I like iOS 8 on my iPad 4 because it's reliable and improved from iOS 7 (Textbook answer) It's pretty cool, actually. I like it, but I hate how you can't make the line go somewhere else to type. See, I can't edit that first sentence without erasing this all.
stupid waste of space lies annoying laggy glitchy slow not worth it not worth my 30 minutes to download
I'm loving IOS8. So many new features! I absolutely, LOVE, the new texting update. I also went to Apple yesterday, and looked at the iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 +, I dislike the 6 +. It's way to big, and it's totally not worth it in my opinion. Except for your eyes. They won't strain as bad becuase the screen is bigger. I do like the iPhone 6 though! Have fun! #TeamApple
I think it IOS 8 was a good update and I've had no problems with it. It's pointless jailbreaking your phone..
I'm on IPhone 4, and I cannot upgrade to IOS 8 so I cannot experience this new update, anyway, if I did, I would probably downgrade seen as how half of its reviews on many websites and forums have atleast a few that talk about the amount of lag you get from it. A friend of mine (@xiDiGiiTaLz) recently downgraded because of the IOS 8 lag.
I'm gonna be nice and not rate that post "Disagree"... Jailbreaking is making your iPhone yours. It's basically letting you change your phone however you want without Apple's restrictions. For example, you can add themes for your app icons, custom boot screens/lock screens/fonts/ringtones, and so much more. It is not pointless. I'm sure @DEXsta101 can help me defend my point.
