Empires With Empires, you can create your very own Minecraft server within the Minetime network. You have full control over your Empire including whether or not it is whitelisted, what plugins it has, and everything that takes place within it. You can invite your friends, keep out griefers, add minigames, and so much more. While anyone can create a free Empire that comes with a few basic features, you can purchase an Empire that supports up to 200 players! Availability Today, we will be releasing a limited number of Empires. To start, we are limiting it to 75 total at a time. Once we are able to see how our system load balances itself, we will make more available. Creating an Empire Creating an Empire is simple. All you have to do is walk into the large purple portal or type "/empire createfree" and you'll have a free version created! Once it is created, you'll get a message and you can walk through the portal or type "/empire join" to access it. If you want a more powerful Empire with more features and less limitations, you can visit https://e.minetime.com and purchase a package. You can upgrade at any time. Once you create an Empire, you will have a scoreboard that looks something like this. Joining You can join an Empire by typing "/empire join" to join yours or "/empire join <name>" to join an Empire to which you have access. Managing Your Empire Once you have an Empire, you are free to do whatever you want with it. You create the rules, invite the players and manage the plugins. Minetime creates and stores regular backups of your Empire. Whitelist By default, all Empires are private, meaning you have to specifically invite a player to join it in order for them to be able to access it. To manage your whitelist, type "/empires whitelist add/remove <name>". If you want to toggle your whitelist, you can type "/empire whitelist enable/disable". You can type "/empire list" to see which Empires you are able to join (empires to which you've been invited). Plugins You can install plugins on your Empire with any plan except the free plan (you can only install Essentials using the free plan). You can do so in the lobby by clicking the plugin manager chest to open up the plugin GUI. Hover over a chest to see the plugin name and description, and click on it to install the plugin. Once it installs, it will show up as an enderchest and you can click on that to uninstall it. Installing plugins will automatically restart your Empire and installation can only be done in the lobby. Anyone who is whitelisted on your Empire can join and force it to start. Empires take only a few seconds to be created, update, and start. There is an auto AFK kick on your Empire to prevent people from idling and keeping their Empire online 24/7. That uses up resources and prevents other people from playing on their Empire. Our list of plugins is currently limited but we are able to add more upon request. Your network rank has nothing to do with Empires, so being Timeless doesn't get you an Empire. Why are some people disappointed? It's a server that costs nothing. What would you prefer? $5 a month for a good server? Or $100 a month for a good server and you host it and have to deal with all the ddosing and stuff?
You're acting as if you own it... Technically, you don't. People still have to connect from the Minetime IP, etc. No difference dude.
