what do you think? (i drew a picture)

    and i'm looking for opinions and i can't draw on paper to save my life (typically a computer artist)

    soo my class's art teacher is making us enter this rememberance day poster contest by the canadian legion, and yeah...

    this was drawn with pencil (2B, 4B, HB, 4H), black conte crayon, black marker and colored pencils

    please tell me if there's anything i should change :)

    You know, instead of saying a negative comment about it, why not give her constructive criticism?

    I personally love how you made the colors pop and even though you're mostly a computer artist, I have to admit, you're great at drawing! The only thing that I have to say is that the lips look a little weird but that's just being too picky. :p Good job

    Less shading on the face, make it a little more subtle. Add a lot more details like blemishes or other face things like that. Work on that neck xD.
    The hair is pretty nice. The guy in the bottom left hand corner looks like he has scoliosis, which looks horribly painful. The fences look like they are part of the sky, so add more depth and darkness to them. Then you should be pretty good after all of that.

    I had a history assignment once and at the end of it we had to illustrate something from the beach of Gallipoli (world war 1) and I drew two stick-men; one had a rifle and the other had a machine gun.
