I was just on pvp fest having a good old time when suddenly i found me and LtSpears, i think in a fight. I gapled all was good until Disconected from server. Appeared on my screen. Logged back in and what do you know, i was DEAD. This needs to be fixed! I seriously can't be leave i just lost that to lag. Wow. Is there at least any chance i can have it back i also had an admin sword but i nothing else. no gapless or pots. Items lost to lag: Protection 1 Diamond helmet Projectile protection 3 Diamond chestplate Protection 1 Diamond Leggings Protection 1 Diamond boots Sharpness 3 fire aspect 2 knock back 2 diamond sword Please ask LT spears if you don't be leave me.
Sorry but you have to put up with lag one way or another. I'm not sure if the two were connected, but minetime has suffered some ddosing recently.
The staff will not do anything. You lagged out, what has this got to do with Minetime? It's your internet.
Something about Minetime's DDoS something was hacked, which caused minetime to be DDoSed as well (but it wasn't directed at minetime).
I don't think he was DDoSed, because he said the message was "Disconnected from Server". When I get DDoSed, the message is all that Java/timeout stuff.
A different server using the same DDoS protection network (or something like that, I don't really know much about this) was hit hard by some major attacks today and all servers using that service suffered. Nothing was "hacked" and we weren't technically "DDoS'd".
Lag is a huge issue that everyone dreads when it comes to pvp. I personally have lagged out myself and have lost multiple sets of armor and gapples. Since lag can't really be fixed, your going to just have to hope for the best that it doesn't happen again.
You know what, whenever I see you on line, I'll give you a sharp V sword, and protection 1 diamond set!
