Hello, and here today I come with the suggestion of removing hacks altogether from Minetime. I come here suggesting this today because so far people having hacks has gotten very irritating for me. For example, a player names Corpses_ came to my plot and was spam-throwing xp bottles. I asked him nicely to stop but he continued to throw them and run around at speed 10. I then denied him, but he was able to come back, avoiding the deny due to his hacks. Anyway, I hope staff consider this suggestion. Thanks, -GoldenPony
There are more gamemodes than creative. Please do look at them when you have a chance and see how hacks impact them greatly. There is /ignore . If he is really bothering you, tell a staff, removing hacks from minetime is legit the worst idea i have ever heard. Minetime wouldn't be minetime if it didn't have hacks.
Hacks will not be removed. If a player is using hacks to harm you (obviously except in PvP) take a screenshot or video of them doing it (preferably a video if it's XP bottle spam/arrow spam) and make a report.
i dont support this and i usually support everything hacks are unique and they are like a family member on minetime but they always get used and abused BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING
If you want a non-hacking server, go somewhere else. Minetime is a server MADE FOR HACKERS so that we can enjoy playing, without being banned constantly for it.
Hacking is used to improve the enhance the performance in Pvp. Hacks have always been allowed on Pvp based servers and always will (As long as it is not used to crash/harm the server), It is what sets minetime apart from other servers and what makes it unique. Most of the community would either quit or get banned for hacking. You can report the player here if they are still bothering you. These activities are prohibited and generally warrant a temporary ban: Item spam -- Spamming fireworks, arrows or other items
...You do realize those aren't even hacks, right? Hacks can't magically bypass a plot deny as far as I know. And the fact that you would want to solely have hacks removed because of this reason, (which isnt even hacking) is ridiculous. also: there are servers other than creative that thrive on hacks you know that right
As stated above, Hacks will never be removed. If they were to be removed, Minetime would lose basically all of its player base.
Unfortunately hacks have been here for such a long time that it's just a part of the server now. If you have a problem with someone annoying/harassing you take a video and/or screenshots (preferably video) of the person doing annoying things to you.
I honestly just like how your wanting something that will forever be with minetime removed because of one thing that isnt even caused by hacks lmao i mean god calm down its not like your getting XP bottles spam throwed at you haha
I honestly don't care about hacking as long as they don't crash the server with it... (Like what happened with Creative)
As already stated above several times, the use of modified clients will not be removed from Minetime. Thread locked.
