Prison Guide for New Players

Welcome to MineTime Prison!

First of all, scamming and hacking is allowed! Do not trust anyone except your closest friends and allies.

When you first enter MineTime Prison you spawn in the spawning area. The command is /spawn to return to this area.

Hungry? The command for food is /kit food

You will want to use commands to warp to different areas because there are pvp zones where players can attack each other.

In case you felt brave and decided to go through a pvp area you can get a new starter kit. The command is /kit starter

The first thing you want do is get familiar with the shop prices. The command is /warp shop

Then, you're going to want to check out the rank prices. The command is /warp rankup

It is a good idea to vote for MineTime every day because you receive very good rewards for doing so! To bring up the voting links use /vote
Press T to open up the chat; you are now able to click the voting links.
Click the link and a popup will appear; click Yes and you will be taken to the voting website for the link you selected. Type in your username, do the human verification, and click Vote.
You will receive $15,000 in-game cash and a chance to earn extra rewards!
Remember to vote through every link, every day!

Next, with your starter kit go to D-Mine because you are D-Rank. The command is /warp D-Mine

Collect ore at the D-Mine to sell at the shop.

Notice you will gain levels as you mine. Once you have 30 levels go buy wood at the shop to make sticks and use some diamonds you get from mining to make a diamond pickaxe. Next, you want to go to the enchanting area to enchant your new diamond pickaxe. The command is /warp enchant

Now, if you get a really good pickaxe you don't want to lose it. You can repair it for $5,000 at either the enchanting area or the spawning area. There will be a sign at either one of these places located on a wall, both are near the pvp zones (not in it) just before the red line that you should not cross.

When you collect enough money for C-Rank go to the rankup board and right click on C-Rank only once or you will lose extra money. Now you can go to the next mine. The command is /warp c-mine

Commands for other mines (you must have the appropriate rank):

/warp b-mine
/warp a-mine

Continue mining to rank up all the way to Freeman. There is no mine for Freeman or above but you now have access to the Free World.

The Free World is a big area in which you can build a base. But, be forewarned, griefing is allowed in this area.

You will need a faction to claim land. To create a faction go into the Free World (don't worry you will spawn in a safe zone), the command is /f create [faction name]
ex:
/f create CollinIsSexy

When you find an unclaimed land you want for your own, claim it with the command
/f claim
To set a warp to your base use /f sethome
To return to your faction sethome use /f home

To make a raid-proof base use Obsidian to build your base. Then, you will want to evenly coat it with water (do NOT coat it with lava as players can use this to glitch into your base and grief it!). Also, make sure you are building inside your claimed land. To see your claimed land use /f map
You can also use /f map on to be updated on where you stand in real time.
To turn this feature off use /f map off

You can get Obsidian from other players through the Auction or you can find it on your own in the Free World where lava and water meet. You must be A-Rank or higher to start an auction.

Here are the commands for using the auction:
To start an auction hold the item you want to auction in your hand and use /auc start
To bid on an auction use /bid [amount] [max amount]
Example, I want to bid on 64 Obsidian:
/bid 75000 150000

What this means is that my initial bid will be 75000 and if anyone bids between 75000 and my max of 150000, my bid will automatically be higher than the competitor without going over the 150000 limit I set.
