I samthelad am making a huge base called "Project Xeon" The biggest base on minetime. This project was started by king_mitchell and I am the last working builder. Me and mitchell have mostly done a lot of the work on this base. So You will be amazed of the size. The best way to make your base on factions is in chunks, when claiming on factions, when you step in to a 16x16 space, that is a chunk. Just claim one chunk and build from bedrock to build limit and that is easily over 1000 blocks of build space. I did that and never got raided #SoloFaction until some faction named FRESH! raided me from inside by having one of its memebers join my faction because I needed help building.
