So, some people have been posting player reports without proof. Some people just don't know how to post screenshots.
    Here is a tutorial:
    1. Go to the thing you want to take a screenshot of. Then, press f2 to take the screenshot. It should say "saved screenshot as ______________.png."
Edit: If you want to hide chat and your hot bar/ item in hand, then press f1.

    2. Now hit the "start" button. Type in the search bar: %appdata%. Click on "Roaming." (it should pop up)
Now double-click on the .minecraft folder, which should be the first on the page. Go to to screenshots and see if the screenshot worked. Now drag the screenshot over to your photos library.

    3. Now find an image-sharing program. Imgur is my favorite. To access Imgur, go to your internet explorer or Chrome or whatever you're using- type in the search bar "imgur.com." Now you are at the Imgur website. In the top-right corner, find "Computer" under "Upload images." Click on "Computer." Now go to your photos library and select the screenshot.

    4. Click on upload image. It should bring you to a new page with a bunch of links (these links are for displaying the images). To post a screenshot on the forums here, you want to copy the BBCode for message boards and forums.

    5. Paste the link in the desired spot. You have now posted a screenshot- this is the one I took and uploaded using Imgur.

A simpler way would be to open "Snipping Tool" and just select the area that you want a screenshot of and save it. It takes longer to go to the screenshots folder. I'm sure there's also many other ways, but this is just the method I use.

You could do that, but for me it pauses my screen, so I dont use that.

If you are a laptop player, press the FN key and then press F2. :3

This is really useful, especially for new people on the forums. Good job!:D You may want to mention that by hitting the F1 key, you can hide chat as well as your toolbar.

Why go through all the hassles of Steps 2 to 5?

Simply do Step 1, then when you start new thread to report, simply click the "Upload a File" button beside the blue "Create Thread" button.

Btw, for Mac users, Step 1 would be: hold down Command and Shift then press 3

Command shift 3 is for a whole screen snapshot. The function f2 still works for mac.

I may be wrong, but I think you are mistaken. F2 on macs simply brightens up the screen, Well at least thats what happens on our iMac 27", MacBook Pro 17", MacBook Pro 15", and MacBook Air 13". But i'm not sure about other Mac models.

You are using function and f2, no just f2 right?

You are correct about using fn+F2 which works while in Minecraft. But doing it this way, you are forced to then do Step 2 all the way to Step 5 just to post a pic.
I still prefer using Command+shift+3 then simply uploading it. I like doing things the quick, easy way. But it might just be me.
