Ok so how do you make your roof raid proof? if you have beacons in your base what do you place above the beacons to make your roof raid proof? or if you put beacons on your roof how do you protect them from creeper eggs or tnt?

Surround the beacons with water and cover them with a couple layers of obsidian.

Anvils? I think the beam can travel through them.

Ok but the beam can't go through the obsidian so you mean make a hollow tower of obby around them with no roof and then fill it with water? Isn't that possible to get raided?

Beacon beams can go through enderchests, anvils, glass, and any decoration block.

I suggest sealing it with iron bars. Preferably make the beacon underground

I don't think so. It might blow up the surroundings, but i don't think the anvil itself will move.

In the first place why do you need so many beacons?

Do I need a gap so that people can't glitch in?

I'm just asking , my situation on prison is very confusing and I may quit for real but I'm not sure, it depends on what happens to my base, so sadly I won't be able to get the beacons because I'm pretty sure I got raided but everything is untouched in my base ( my farm and even the chest defenses are still there) except the chests are gone.... So Idk I won't be getting beacons though that's for sure.

They can give you speed, strength, resistance, haste , jumpboost , or regeneration within a 50 block radius if you activate one using a pyramid of ore blocks( iron blocks /diamond blocks, ect. @TCP_Disabled what counts as a decoration block? You mean even wood or something?

    I know.
Go onto creative mode (it doesn't matter where), and select the "Decoration blocks" tab. All the blocks/items listed there are decoration blocks.

I had a base with 4 beacons near bedrock, with 2x2 glass blocks on every floor and the roof, which also had glass blocks, topped with at least 2 block high of lava, surrounded by an obsidian "chimney". If you try to throw creeper eggs in, the lava would burn them up. the beacons go through the lava with no problem. The key to making it glitch-proof is to stop the chimney (and your roof) short of level 255, so that anyone using the /top command just ends up standing at level 253 and not inside your base. As far as I know, no one ever got into that base via the beacon chimney - but your mileage may differ with the latest version.
