Recently I have noticed a lot of players complaining about DDoS/DoS attacks. I thought it would be a good idea to show how you are able to hide your IP from users not on your contact list in a few simple steps. Step 1: Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection Check the box that says "Allow direct connections to your contacts only," then restart Skype. What this does: This will hide your IP from anyone NOT in your contact list. Skype Resolvers will no longer work to get your IP. What this does not do: It does not hide your IP from anyone you add on your contacts list. Resolvers still won't work, but if anyone in your contacts list knows how to manually obtain your IP, they'll be able to do so. With all of this being said, I do still highly recommend purchasing a VPN.
