My suggestion is to add a thread and/or a tab regarding an updated version of the forum rules. If you don't understand what I mean by tab, I'm referring to one of the buttons on the top of the forum page. The current forum rules thread is located here. While this gives us a general idea of our forum rules; I'd like a thread that is more specific and tells us how you're punished for each rule broken.
There is a current list of rules, categorised by punishment. It is located at minetime.com/rules. As for a extra 'rules' tab, I don't think it's necessary since the link is simple enough to remember. As for newer players, there is a alert posted in game the leads to this same thread. It is not to difficult to find.
Babe, the thread has been updated over the course of this, anyways just because they're old doesn't make them any less effective. I do agree with you about the tab, that would be a nice improvement.
Ha, well I searched crazily for an updated thread yet couldn't find it. So I guess the tab is necessary ;p Changed the suggestion to just be to add a tab
How about we also list things that people on the internet do that are punishable by law? Like doxing/ddosing?
That thread doesn't actually include the specific forum rules and forum punishments which is what I was suggesting .-.
despite popular belief doxxing isn't illegal (unless of course it has illegal info like credit cards or passwords) not illegal, just unethical op it's a tiny change but support I guess?
This is a direct quote from the thread: This leads to the thread from 2013. Unless the rules in-game (which is what that thread is regarding) are the same as the forums.
Also immoral, honestly though. Do we really want feds investigating a ddos case with children, while not investigating stuff that actually matters. 1. They're just ruining some kids life who didnt know better 2. Its a waste of federal time
It says Minetime rules. I would assume since the forums are part of the Minetime network that that is so.
Unless someone were to officially confirm that. Many servers have separate forum rules from in-game rules. I'm just going to change my suggestion back to what it originally was.
Ahhh, but shouldn't you assume by saying Minetime that its talking about the whole network? Or am I just assuming people are smarter then what they really are?
No need to be rude, man. In-game is a completely different place than the forums. While a lot of things may be the same, there are different types of things you can do on the forums that would be against the rules.
Like what? Forums are just a place for sharing ideas, you can do the exact same thing in game with an added bonus of a lot more.
