SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENIENCE I RAN OUT OF SPACE Hackers If you are a regular, you probably already know that hacks that don't spawn in items or threaten the server in anyway are allowed (such as Huzuni), and most of these hack clients or even homemade ones involve a chest finder and an x-ray. This can make it easy for people to find your base, and more importantly, your items. X-rays can also be useful for finding ores like diamond because there is no designated mine for it unlike the Prison server. Prevent people finding your chests by using other GUIs like hoppers, droppers, dispensers, or even furnaces. Raiding In the last few passages, we have talked about getting raided, but not actually how to do it yourself. The good news is, you can raid others, the bad news is, they can also raid you. We've talked about how to avoid this/make it harder for the raiders already, now let's get down to business! First, find a base. There doesn't seem to be a square meter that doesn't have an empty base hanging around, so finding them is easy, but the majority of them are abandoned or raided. You can dig into the ground a bit, but without x-ray or chest-finder, it can be hard to look. If you do have these hacks, dig down and go ahead. If the base is claimed and you can't overclaim it, don't worry. You can still get in, just not completely. Also, if you overclaim someone, /F UnClaim when you are done. Aim for the Chest and Hope for the Best clear out a space as close as you can build around the target. Make and launch a TNT cannon. You can kill creepers and harvest sand from deserts or pools and buy 64 at a time only for 8K at the factions shop. I recommend at least a stack if you are going to launch it more than once (you may need to). Try to put it in a strategical place where it will aim for the chests. Hopefully there will be something good in them. Some hack clients include a chest screen where you can detect what items are in it to avoid wasting your time. I have heard of this but I do not know of any. Do the same with above ground bases and save time by not having to dig out a bunch of stone, ores, and other things. If the base is obsidianed and full of water, you just have to get creative, come back another time (/SetHome), or move on. Find out how to build one here Extra Stuff Here are just some extra tips, tools, and commands you can use. 1. Type /Warp for a list of places you can /Warp WarpName to go to such as the shop where you can use virtual cash (don't worry, it won't magiclly find your PayPal) to buy in game items. 2. Use /F Mod <PlayerName> to give them higher privaledges such as /F Claim and /F UnClaim. 3. Change titles and infos with /F Title <PlayerName> <Title> (only affects players in your faction), /F Desc <Faction Description>, and /F Tag <NewFactionName>. 4. Tip: Tell your members to refrain from PvPing unless they are really good so they won't loose too much power. If they accidentally die or something, it will regenerate a +1 every five minutes. 5. You never know who you can trust. Build Skype relationships to feel more secure. 6. I'm sorry to see you go! /F Disband to delete your faction, all its power and claims and start over. 7. If you are a donor, you get more than one kit. Make sure to use /Kit <KitName> as much as you can to stock up! 8. Try to go at least to 1000± coordinates so your are not too close to spawn. 9. Don't mess with Volga, they will just kick your a**. 10. Don't enemy people if unnecessary. It ticks them off and they are more likely to track down your base coordinates. Speaking of coordinates, don't give them to anyone. 11. Use /F List to see a list of factions! Use /F Join or /F Leave to join or leave a faction, and use /Faction Chat P/A/F (public, allies only, or faction members only; this is where you will see your title if you have been assigned one) to customize chatting options. 12. /F Open to make it a public faction that anyone can join. /F Invite to invite someone. /F DeInvite to cancel a pending invitation. 13. /F AutoClaim to make every piece of land you cover claimed. /F Kick to remove players from your faction. /F Admin to make someone the leader. 14. /F Peaceful to make your faction neutral. So what are you waiting for? Go out and survive! Just remember that there will be things like this... And maybe even this... The poll will be closed after seven days. That is when I will tally up the votes. New tutorials every week
Your factions tutorial has been useful! I've played factions on other servers, but still have questions about MineTime in particular. How do you gain currency, besides voting? I've heard people say that you should farm netherwart and mining... but MineTime doesn't seem to have the auction plugin, and there's no option to sell stuff back to the shops. How do you sell the stuff to make money on this server?
