Factions Reset

Hello Minetimers!

Today I am happy to announce the Factions reset. In this thread I will be clearing a few things up, explaining some of the neat new changes to the Factions server, and some other stuff.

New spawn:
Factions now has a completely new spawn. It is significantly larger and better than our old map. The spawn was also made entirely by our very own build team! Make sure to thank our build team members if you see them on the forums or in-game.

New voting system:
As with multiple other Minetime servers, we completely revamped the old voting system by introducing crate-based voting. This new system provides much more incentive for even the most wealthy players to vote. We also think you'll find it to be quite fun. Here's how it works: For every vote, you earn a fixed amount of money ($1000). On top of the $1000, you also have a chance to win a crate key. There are three types of crates:

"Common Crate" (1/5 chance of getting a key)
"Lucky Crate" (1/25 chance of getting a key)
"Exceptional Crate" (1/125 chance of getting a key)

The crates are located in the main spawn area at /warp vote. You can punch a given crate to view its contents and right-click it with its corresponding key to get rewards. If you open a crate using its key, it will give you a random prize from its selection. Each selection has an equal chance of being the prize.

Spawners:
We added spawners. Spawners will now be the main source of gaining experience. You can now also silktouch spawners using a pickaxe with silktouch I. This also means that other players can raid your spawners by exploding them with TNT or a creeper egg.

Kit timeless:
There is now a /kit timeless. This kit contains: Protection III, Unbreaking III Diamond Armor, with a Sharpness IV, Fire Aspect II, Knockback II, Looting III Diamond Sword. Kit godsword has been removed.

Noexitpvp:
/warp noexitpvp has made a return. I always did like the concept of an inescapable pvp arena, but we never really executed the idea well. We have made a larger version of /warp noexitpvp behind spawn.
