Hey, Before you think this - No, not a real practice server... I want to suggest a server dedicated to just Duels. KitPvP has unfortunately died out since the newest reset, and I hardly see anyone on it anymore, so perhaps it could be the replacement server. I imagine it with the basic kits - P4 Diamond with potions, P4 Diamond with gaps, stuff like that. You can add more kits that will interest all players, perhaps a UHC kit and Build-UHC kit. Tell me your ideas for kits, and if you think this is a good idea!
I feel as though this would be a great idea! I've seen a lot of servers with a duel server thing and it turned out to be very successful. Hopefully @Pile will consider it.
Useless in cheating. I support this ONLY if it has the newest ncp https://ci.md-5.net/job/NoCheatPlus/ And NO mcmmo. The reason why new nocheat matters so much to me is because 1. It's made for 1.8. The one minetime has is made for 1.3. 2. Hit detection is fixed. 3. Has actual aura checks, therefore you can see who actually has the better aura instead of who can speed and fly better 4. New clients required (everyone uses am0d smh) Would be a great change from the current nocheat that lets you fly for an hour and a half. And by the way if you mention bhopping it's been patched in latest nocheat. So don't whine at me like last time for an invalid reason.
In all seriousness I see zero reasons to have a specific server just to do /duels on. That will obviously make it less popular then if where you are on minetime you can just duel whatever. I like your kit suggestions and the /duels themselves. Also if its people on a server your talking about no one and I mean NO ONE plays skywars anymore so Im just wondering why you go straight for an original server on minetime. (And actually yes people do indeed still play it)
I've seen you on HvH (Chrisdog). I also like the idea of having a server with NCP. Hacking will be discouraged on that specific server and might interest the players that do not like hacking, and possibly gain more of those types of players in the process.
At the moment I think we shouldn't have a whole separate server just for duels... I think that we should just add a duels plugin to some servers where you can just type /duel.
I feel like he means like a Kit PvP server, not necessarily a duels server. A Kit PvP server with /duel installed within it sounds good.
I know I dont need to tell you we already have kit pvp and adding in /duel is indeed really like /duel lol
Whole server is based on cheating, I know what your getting at too, to easy or whatever... But if there being that harsh on using clients why not just go on a different server with more people and custom made plugins without the risk of a cheater using a client?
