    Hello,

I'm sure most of you know the platypus from popular children show, Phineas and Ferb. Very interesting show indeed, as I personally found it fascinating in my younger years. But, I did some research this morning to find some facts about platypuses. Not sure who of you will be interested, but this truly interests me and you might be surprised what an amazing creature this really is. Here's the link to the facts, hope you enjoy. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/p/platypus/

Why did you make a whole entire thread surrounding facts of a mammal?

Because I'm interested in the creature, I thought some others would be too.

Express, not trying to add message count. As I stated, I thought some of you might be interested in my research.

FACT:. THEY DON'T HAVE A STOMACH.
Platypuses (platypodes and platypi are technically also correct, but much rarer in use) aren't the only animals to forgo an acid-producing part of the gut; spiny echidnas, and nearly a quarter of living fishes all have a gullet that connects directly to their intestines.

    found the fact here
