Can't connect to server

    Hi, I'm new to Minetime and I can't connect, so it's probably me but here's what I've done:

    Running version 1.8
    added www.minetime.com as a new server
    In the list of servers I got a black and white icon showing minetime, with the message 'can't connect to server'

    Any mods I need or anything? Is that the right address?

    You said "added www.minetime.com as a new server", did you put that as the server ip? If so, it's just minetime.com

    If you put in www.minetime.com as the IP it's wrong. The IP is minetime.com if this continues to happen your internet is down. If it says your connected to the internet but you can't join it's your proxy.

    Thanks for all your replies, you're absolutely correct I was using www. and not just minetime.com, all fine now.

    Ok, WWW stands for World Wide Web and since minecraft is NOT a web browser it can't have www in it.
