Introduction My name is Angel, and I have been playing Minetime for about 3 years now. I have recently decided that I'm going to guide myself back into the Minetime community in a less hateful and problematic way than I was before. I'm not a completely changed person, but I'm getting better and better each day. Your in-game name My current IGN is Animized. I have previous names of Joocy and Begreenhikat. What timezone are you in? Atlantic time zone. What country do you live in? I live on the east coast of Canada. What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English. Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No Yes. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I use Quicktime Player to take screenshots, and imgur to upload them. Why do you think you should become a helper? Honestly, I believe that there are plenty reasons why I should be helper, and I also believe that many people can argue. I have a strong past in being unreliable, unprofessional (on numerous occasions), and extremely problematic. I am not afraid to admit that, but I'm not afraid to admit that I am sure I'm changing. Anybody could spend hours giving reasons why I am no longer suitable for a staff position, but I am a strong believer that anybody can change at any time. I also believe that everybody should get as many chances as they need to be as great of a person they can be. I recently changed my ways of socializing with people in the community, and I think I have matured in some way. I can be on many many hours of the day, and I know what I can do the make the Minetime community a much better place for everybody. I will now state a few reasons why I think I am a great fit for having the helper rank once again. I already have experience. I was a helper on this server for over a year. Out of everything I've done, I know I've never wrongfully punished a player, and I know what appropriate punishments are for rule breakers. Now helpers have more access to the forums, and I think I would be very great on there too. It would be nice to have me as an extra set of hands because I know what I'm doing in-game, and when it comes to the forums, I can be a very fast learner. I know how to handle situations in a responsible and calm manner, which I think is a great quality of mine. I am respectful. I am a very respectful person and player on the server. It may seem like a stupid reason why I think I should be helper, but I think it's a very strong one. I want to help people on Minetime, and I never want to cause harm or hurt. I don't think I have ever been accused of "abusing" my powers (I'm not saying that helpers who get accused of things are actually doing it), and I treat every player on the server with respect. Not only would I moderate, I have also helped new players with learning how to play the game. I don't attack people in chat or in private conversations, and that is something I find a benefit as many past helpers have problems with that. I know the server. I am very familiar with Minetime. I have been playing for a decent amount of time, and people know me. I know which players to look out for, and which players have bad intentions. I don't see myself quitting any time soon, and I can only get to know everybody more. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can be active on the server every day after school from around 3pm-10pm. That is when I am free after school, which is pretty much all the time. The weekends are hard to say, as some weekends I go on hiking and camping trips. But for the most part, I'm free all hours on weekends. I can be online most hours of the school day using Minechat and the forums. How long have you been playing Minetime? I have been playing Minetime since August 2013. But I became active in early 2014. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Yes, I have been banned. I have changed since then, and I've come up with other more responsible ways to manage my anger. Do you have any past experience as a moderator/helper? I was a helper on Minetime for over a year. Conclusion I want to let everybody know that I'm only doing this to make Minetime a better place. When I play Minetime, I see a lot of things I could only fix if I had the helper position once again. I deeply regret quitting last time, and I deeply regret my past actions as both a player and a person. Once again, there are tons of reasons why I wouldn't qualify for helper again, but I honestly think those are over and done with. I know what not to do, and how to separate my personal life and the Minetime server. I'm not afraid to admit that I have a not so great past, but I want to have a very great future with the Minetime community. Thank you.
