am0d is only one client. InsaneBarz, SpikeV3, B-M0d, Mexican-M0d are all the same thing. A lot of people question on the forums to request a certain client. If the client looks similar to am0d -Title on left corner -Description under -Ping Then it's am0d I totally recommend you all don't waste your time asking for clients. They are just renamed. Nothing special.
They're all pretty weird clients to me. I am used to the feel of clients like Eximius, or Weepcraft. I like the way they run/settings/commands/whatever. It's just less confusing. On topic: Yeah, pretty much all the same thing. Someone just decompiled the jar, watched a YouTube video, and made a new client.
You mean skidding? You can't just expect someone to make a *new client* in a sec. it takes alot of work & time to learn.
It becomes a new client because it has a different names and has been modified. It's annoying, but it happens. And yes, I know that most of those clients are basically a-m0d with only name changes.

They decompile the jar (sometimes into a working source) or they use a bytecode editor and just edit the strings. They don't make a new client, that actually takes effort. They don't skid, just rename strings. EDIT On a different note am0d is one of the worst clients I have ever used. I will never understand to this day why people still like it. The aura is terrible, there's nothing innovative in it, speed is bad, phase is TERRIBLE (uses sneak packets lmao) and the client is just flat out ugly too.
This is my point, pretty much. It's so horrible, you have to spend hours to get settings that bypass NoCheatPlus while still being good enough to win a fight. People use a-m0ds code because it's very straight forward (imo) and it used to be good; Eximius is better, lol. I tried recoding it but I got bored from long it was taking. The original a-m0d should never have been released, and the newer/remakes of it are sometimes actually good. I've seen two that can beat a-m0d anyday. However, most "coders" just change little things like the .png in the source, some strings, and then re-compile them. Sometimes they don't even change the **** name and just re-compile it for no reason, I've seen it from multiple copies.
LOL I Fixed up Am0d i will soon add other type of command on My custom AFX-M0d i Made the Critz more and more like speed bypass i will make it faster and the KIllaura More Accurate.

Simple Many People in factions and Op pvp Spam message me send me your client even though i said no to them several time then at some point they find my skype and spam it.
I dont even know how did they get my skype i can make am0d an OG client if i choose to i am able to make the killaura better with speed, repot, and Citicals
