Hey. As some of you know, Wurst has recently let out a new update allowing people to use your account. The way you can avoid people getting access if by not giving anyone your Minecraft logs. When your client/launcher crashes it will show something very similar to this. Code: Completely ignored arguments: [--nativeLauncherVersion, 286] [21:12:58] [Client thread/INFO]: Setting user: <username> [21:12:58] [Client thread/INFO]: (Session ID is token:36150d54510348718fe13b06a97b67f8:231839ec9c2446748da6746fa760cb48) [21:12:59] [Client thread/INFO]: LWJGL Version: 2.9.4 [0x7FFB6B65B390] ANOMALY: meaningless REX prefix used Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release See where is says the session ID? Thats the part people can use to gain access to your username/account. Some of you people reading this will be like 'Pfft, nah thats impossible'; but in disbelief, about an hour ago I thought the same thing and tried that. It worked and I got access to some kids minecraft account and managed to get onto Minetime. So yea, if anyone asks for your Minecraft logs or want to show someone your crash report hoping they can fix it. Just be aware. (For those who don't understand ANY of that. *Cough* Kyleep *Cough*) If you give people your last crash log, they can use that to log in to any server as you. Your skin. Your username. Your inventory. Your rank. But not your password. Edit:
Hey TeaBag. Thanks for the heads up to the Minetime community. This will prevent a lot of account loses or access.
not only wurst ^_^ doesn't matter what (Client) you use, that was what i tried to explain to ppl, they ask for help and sharing their "Crash Logs" And yeah, Btw thanks for the post.
i haven't really had (problems) with clients, soo yeah but some of them does, i've seen threads about it on H&E.
Let me re-phrase that for you. + Don't download clients from unknown websites, like MCLEAKS, they steal your account/s and make it public, that's how they give people "free" accounts. You can go ahead and try it. ^_^ lol
They can only steal your accounts if you put them in the check accounts section. The clients aren't actually infected. Also session stealers have been around for quite a while. Since about October I have been taking the dumb kids' crash reports in leakforums and using their accounts
Hello, I have a quick question @Sir-Teabag, is it banable if someone was asking me for this information?
It's about as bannable as somebody asking for your password. If they don't do it forcefully, or make a threat, it's nothing more than a simple question. However, I would advise you to change your password if somebody does ask that.
It's her fault for not securing it. If the staff want to take action, they will. Teabag isn't the type of person who would sabotage somebody's account.
Hey have any ummm... extra crash reports of yours I could barrow? I need ummm... to check to see if my reports are the same.
