Infection Sharp 20 Bows

As with a lot of things on this server, they are super op and frequently ruin experience for them who don't have it.

 

I say don't remove it, because how are the non hackers going to beat hackers? <---- don't say get good also its hard to get hackers in game without it

 

I think they should remove the sharpness from the bow and instead make it like idk power or punch

I completely disagree. The Sharp 20 bow is almost like... an ancient relic from the beginning. Besides, it is one of the two things that let a zombie kill a human easily. It evens out the balance because humans have that OP bow and better armor. Besides, people went through a lot of effort to get them and it will all go to waste to see them gone. It also makes a challenge for humans to survive, at the same time it also makes it easier for individual humans to win. It would be boring to win countless rounds without xp because other humans survived.

I might be late for posting this, since Minetime is down temporarily. I would consider myself an OP player, and through my experience with the sharpness 20 bow, it is slightly overpowered, especially when humans could gain access to it via ender chests. I have no say in what the new owner is going to do to Infection, good or worse. Whatever he decides to do, I am up for it. It's about time for a change to happen in Infection because frankly, having a sharpness 20 bow makes the game ALOT more boring. Not to say that phasing and flying into ridiculous places is not boring. Being a veteran player, I know what the old days of infection were like. I really wish hacks were not allowed, because using that Power 10 bow as a human was fun! I hope to see you all back on Minetime, and I miss you all.

1. People have worked very hard to earn their bows. Its seen as an achievement. Its a milestone to get a sharp 20 bow.

2. Yes they are op, but so are other hacks, you can easily get somewhere with your hacks and avoid it. Before anyone complains they dont have hacks, Sorry, hacking is allowed and most people cant get very far without them
(Congrats to pacebuscus for getting prestige 10 with no hacks)

3. Yes they are op, but i dont think they should be removed or nerfed either. They should just be moved to a different milestone.

4. Every server with the same infection plugin has the bows. Its diffucult to program that, and the server just started, we have worse problems than the bows.

5. Even if the poll gets more votes. Its not going to be removed, many have tried over the past years, It just doesn't happen. Its apart of the game, suck it up and deal with it.

Also we are losing players at a rapid rate. This will make it worse.

 

I don't care how "hard" you work for the bow, it 2 shots normal players, can you explain how that's fair in the slightest?

And for your second statement, how am I supposed to stop it with hacks when I get halved every hit by the bow? Doesn't matter how good your hacks are, the bow will 3 shot max.

There's 2 servers with the same infection plugin.

Explain why you disagree, I'm genuinely curious.

People are discouraged by the sharp 20 bow - another reason I stopped playing infection was because of the bow.

+1 I quit Infection because it was annoying as HELL, it's way to overused and needs to atleast nerfed.

 

PACE IS MY BEST FRIEND and 2 I got pres 10 without hacks
