tbh I've been playing on another creative server until mine time reopens, and it has local chat (plot chat). Minetime should add that. It's also confusing not just the role-players, but when other people are roleplaying. Idk WHO is in WHAT ROLEPLAY!!
i guess the most you could do is "local chat," or plot chat, which is where everyone who is in the plot at the moment could type a command (i.e., /local) and whatever you type could be only be shown to the people in the plot and not anywhere else (except for chat mods). it would probably get rid of a lot of role play spam too.
Yes Mineverse has it and it work really well. BUT, some people dont use it anyways and they use the normal chat.
Same, I do roleplay sometimes but I rarely even advertise anything, and the way people advertise their roleplays is really annoying to be honest. I have roleplayed there, and it's true. Mineverse people roleplay but they aren't as annoying as minetime is.
Please don't get all mad at me for bringing Mineverse into this (I'm sorry ;-; ily all) but what mineverse did to fix this was switch from plotme to plot squared. Plot squared has a /plot chat command which allows users messages to be limited to the plot they are currently standing in. The creative chat on Mineverse is no longer filled with roleplays. Possible solution?
yeah but when MV did that, many people lost access to their plots and consequently people lost builds and things that may have been important to them ;p shoot just realized i may have added to the thread bump, i apologize
99% of all role plays are ****, and judging by your posts, I'm pretty sure yours isn't in that 1% sorry not sorry
Roleplays are a form of creativity, just not in blocks. This writing is creativity, it's just in a very simple form. Other than that though I definitely agree with what you are saying. I can't even talk without advertisements or something!
They need to add plot chat and if people don't use it - while rp'ing they should get a - A Warning, If continued lead punishment to a mute, then kick. If continued 24hr mute. If Continued After - Temp ban. Or something like that
