I got an email today saying why I got rejected from staff. I was under 13. I am 12. Thats all that was wrong. It just said I was under 13. A 12 year old can do as well as a 13 year old can :l. I answered all the questions right and out an hour into it. Just because Im underage? Wow Minetime. Wow.
We had to set the age limit somewhere, if we made it 12, anyone that is 11 would be saying the same thing as you.
Yeah Im going to Protest. 13 is always the age minimum. I though Minetime was the fun, un-like any server with ranks like Admin that are purchasable and allowed hacks
And Nuggets, For all due respect, It isn't age limit. It would be age minimum. Age limit would be like 30
Don't protest. If you protest it will probably lower your chances of getting Helper in the future. There's a difference between disagreeing and protesting, and one is way worse than the other. You were only denied because of your age (from what I heard) so if you keep up the good work till your 13 then you've got a real shot. Don't deteriorate because of this.
Fine. I will disagree with Mr.Collin Potato. I did not just create this thread for myself. I created it for all the hard Application workers who didn't get accepted because of their age
Sorry, but not everyone was accepted into the team. Many other players were rejected too, and they are disappointed just as much as you are. I'm sure that there will be more staff recruited in the future. Stick around!
Even if you were older than 13, you still probably wouldn't get accepted because your grammar is disgraceful.
By the simple fact that you are making such a big deal about there being an age restriction, you are proving the point that players under a certain age are, on average, less mature than older players. In general, we feel that players which are aged 13 years have, on average, the lower end of acceptable maturity levels. The actions of players younger than that are, on average, too immature to be considered for staff. We actually preferred our choices for staff to be above 15 years old, but set the hard cut-off at 13 to give some leeway to our younger players. Now, we want our average staff member to be mature, polite and helpful, as well as being mentally tough enough to enforce the server rules against a populace bent on sewing chaos. As such, we worked with these perceived averages to come up with an age below which the average person would be incapable of fulfilling these requirements.
