Skyblock Map Reset: Yes or No?

Next there will be threads about Skyblock Crashes.

 

I think that they could reset it, but give everybody the chance to save their islands and then upload it again after the reset.
Otherwise, no. I would probably quit minetime then.
You could possibly do it that everybody got a small area where they could put some chests to save their stuff.

 

I restarted my island 3 weeks ago and have put so much work into and the last week ive been fixing up greif damage stuff. I have so much crap and I put a mob farm already, three structures, and the island is fully expanded, so I would HATE a reset. (also just so you don't make this mistake, when ur adding the votes up, remember I would ragequit, and no are the same things, so u have to add those percents together) Also!! there was a reset almost exactly a year ago.... And the reset isn't absolutely necessary!!

 

i really dont want the islands to reset even though i havnt played for a while, i worked hard to make everything i have and i might quit after the reset cause i already reseted like 4 times and im going to die on my 5th one o.o (not rlly but :T)

 

Right now, NO is winning because No and Rage quit are the same thing... so add those 2 together

 

I think a lot of people have worked REALLY hard on some islands and have donated a lot of money to the foundation of others. It's going to cause conflict either way, but I say no.

I am going to have to disagree with you. Though a restart would restart the server's economy and may reduce lag, that is because of lag machines. The problem with this server is yes, repeaters and sticky pistons are banned, but lag machines and makeshift repeaters/clocks can still be make. The server needs to un-ban repeaters and stick pistons, but turn off Intense server activity ( I believe worldguard does that) so that people can u still make piston doors and crap but all clock- related things or lag-spike/clock things will just shut down stop working. that's why we have lag

 

It would work if we could restart but save our islands and reload them on new map

 

this fall, the server will need to update, and I don't know if they will just change the server completely but keep the maps,but if you read Mojang;s new EULA or whatever thing, you cannot give non-donors and donors different perms that affect gameplay. There may be some exceptions, but it is gonna be REALLY hard to get by. Also, since the prices on the sevrer are cheap because of donors, the sevrer economy is gonna fall and the server will go thru 'the great depression', literally

Skyblock made minetime what it is. Resetting it is like destroying every history book in the world. We would become dumb.
