I'm a Mineversian as you Guys call us and I'm worried about what's going to happen to minetime because when Noobcrew first bought a server called Skyblock Islands, he was rarely active, didn't fix any bugs, and eventually let the server die and didn't pay for it, not even Cypriot helped, there were only 3 staff members (including myself) promoted after he bought it. Then after it died I went to mineverse and am very happy on there, but I'm just worried what happened to Skyblock islands will happen here as well, I'm hoping not but good luck minetime. (You could probably Google sbi and it'll still come up on voting sites)
That's different than that, Noobcrew/Cypriot running 3/4 servers (If you want to count skywars.com) I'd assume they are/they're going to get a lot of revenue. I googled the server, not too much information. Weird how it died. I don't think this will happen to Mineverse, Skyblock, or Minetime. @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew are from what I've seen amazing owners and they're good at their job, don't worry
I just went to their forums, the domain was un-payed for and is now abailable for sell.. How much servers do @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew own? I know about Mineverse, Skyblock.net/org (Same website) and now Minetime.
Was there a reason for creating this other than making the Minetimers worry?..... Maybe Skyblock Islands just didn't work out for Cyp and Noobcrew. They're good at what they do. Mineverse and Skyblock have both been successful for 3+ years. Noobcrew and Collin are good friends also, he wouldn't just let the server die.
You weren't there, I don't get why you would say that really. He let it die after buying it rarely cared. Skyblock islands was successful until he bought it.. If it didn't work out why would be have bought it..
Minetime obviously has an active community and I know that Cypriot also has joint ownership and will want to keep this running. You're probably worrying now as the server is not yet opened, but they'll be working on stuff. Possibly getting a development team in place, asking for more staff, or whatever. Be patient. I think this will be a good thing for them, and I'm sure that they will do good with it. - If not, as Collin stated, the server has been asked to be purchased by other server owners. If need be, Noobcrew can pass on ownership.
See, what's different about Minetime is they already have multiple admins who know what they're doing (I would hope so) Mineverse doesn't have any admins, nor does Skyblock (unless you count Forum Admins) Minetime's set to continue going, as long as Cypriot and Crew reach out and actually look to improve it..
I think Mimetime will be okay. Like Tads said, minetime already has admins and an active community. Also, since Crew and Collin are friends, I don't think Crew will let him down. At least Minetime has a shot now. Without Crew, it wouldn't be coming back anyways.
If you think everything will be alright that's great, I'm just worried because I was a active staff member on the server I was talking about and Noobcrew bought it got rid of the current staff, brought in 2 Skyblock staff, never was on to fix the major bugs and corrupted economy neither was Cypriot. So I'm worried that's what will happen here, he let my favorite server die, I don't want this to repeat.
Honestly most Minetime players will agree with me that we are use to not having vast game improvements. We get a reset once in a while with some changes like a map or new things added to the shop. But personally I have grown to some of these things and wouldn't wish for large updates. Of course some things would be fun to have implemented but then again you take away the uniqueness of Minetime, if you take it to far. Most of the Minetime community just want someone to actually run the server and pay the set bills given and for Minetime's life to continue. As long as Noobcrew pays for the server host and the staff here keep doing as they have been all they have to worry about is resets (which are rare). I highly doubt Minetime will die the same way as the server you speak of did.
