I am retiring from Minetime, and my role as the leader of survival (essentially).
I'm also the top voter :). Someone else can take it after March is over.
@xLelouchxGeassx has also retired, but I can't speak for him even though I am close to him.
FallsGreen is also retiring and wanted me to tell you all as well.
Most of you won't care, so all I ask is that you send a brief farewell to me. Read no further.

As for the rest of you, I'm about to speech hard. Speech like Tyler promised to but never did :) .

My story will be a mix between a life lesson, why I'm quitting, and a story.
I've put a lot of thought into my retirement throughout this week. I'm going to be direct here. Survival is like an empty shoe box. You see the box on the outside, but when you look in, the shoe is gone. You may argue that you see around 20-40 people all day, but I only see about 8 every day. The rest are just afk. I whisper all of them and get 0 response. Tell me they are doing something, because they definitely aren't.

I am about 4x richer than the next baltop person (@MR9), who I passed in 1 month (700k$ roughly). I planned on catching up to the server over time, but the amount of ridiculous negativity that certain people stir up when they feel like it is just flat out overwhelming. The /ignore command doesn't work, especially if they're going to continue being toxic behind my back. I'm the only one on the survival server who had a chance of beating the server (now that I am retiring, no one will beat the survival server). I thought that if I could beat the server, I could bring lots of attention to survival, but it's impossible. Everyone here only plays on skyblock, factions, or creative. If you ask anyone on this server, 80% won't say anything, 10% will say survival is dead, 5% will ask for a trade, and 5% will just be rats. Survival is just impossible. It kinda sucks knowing all the time you put into one server was pretty much all for nothing, especially if no one will notice. Everyone on baltop has essentially quit, so three people have risen to replace them (took them about 3 months.. about time ya slowpokes) Had I worked on any server, I probably would've given you guys a hard time on baltop or easily crushed you all. My regret is that I will never find out for sure.

I started to question why I was so attached to survival. Simply put, I think I just wanted a few things: to feel superior, awesome partners, attention, and a group of friends I could come to knowing they would be there for me. I ought to tell you all now that unless you have a passion for something in computers/minecraft, have irl friends who play here, or play for short times, you should stop. It's not healthy attaching yourself to people who you may never know will disappear. Also, wasting your life playing games will hurt you in the long term. I highly recommend exercise, joining a club, or studying to be successful. No matter how hard that is, I guarantee it will pay off in the long run. Holding baltop, especially on survival, doesn't matter. But investing valuable time into an unrewarding game does matter.

I am essentially getting kicked out due to certain people who are jealous of my shop's success. They know who they are. They will deny it, but the root of their hatred towards me is their jealousy. I find it unfortunate that Tyler will not hear me out or at least allow me to defend WarpShopmart and myself. It's also unfair when he's treating all the other players more fairly than me for reasons I don't even understand. I've invested 2 hours writing emails to him, just to receive responses full of neglect. Yeah, I know he's busy (not really), but I've been asking for weeks. But when someone else asks for something, they get action within 24 hours. Tyler needs another administrator to help him out. Minetime doesn't need more helpers or moderators, but 1 or 2 people who can help Tyler out with his hidden work load. I will also say my personal issues concerning survival would've taken only 30 minutes or so to finish. Tyler wouldn't do it because he thought it'd take 2 hours+.....

This injustice and neglect is exactly why I'm retiring. Yes, I know WarpShopmart and I have done something wrong, but if you're not going to even give us the time to defend ourselves, then there's really no point in wasting our time in such a dangerous server. I find it disappointing that the staff allows us to get bullied, yet when someone else cries uncle when we react, we get smashed. WarpShopmart and I worked hard to get to baltop. I guarantee half of the baltop 1-3 have received significant donations to reach where they are at. I've spent over 800 hours (80k claim blocks) within these 4 months playing on the server, yet someone who has left this server for 1 month+ gets the same treatment that I do. It's impossible to be successful on a server where the staff choose the guy who donates more $ or the guy who never plays on the server. It's simple. We were too successful on survival, so you all want to kick us out. It's funny that a certain player had to resort to such underhand tactics to overthrow me. So to him: you will be king of survival, as well as king of nothing. You will rule over land, but have no subjects to work your fields.

    Shout out to @Express555, @SouthPaw32, @Lovinlegos, @gajdoiron, @GiantEvilPanda, @jacksonthebarb, @Sooplie, and @chloee.

Potential questions people might ask me:
Q: Are you joining another server?
A: Yes, I am joining another server, but I won't be nearly as active on it as I was here. If you really want to find out, I might just tell you if you ask me.

    Q: Why are you quitting?
A: Survival has major issues that haven't been fixed for weeks. I also think I've hit the claim block limit (80,000). I also answer this question in my speech.

Q: Are you giving anything away?
A: No. I'm retiring, not quitting.

Q: What are you going to do once you retire?
A: Study hard and work out hard. I'm taking like 4 AP courses next school year so I might as well start cutting off my gaming addiction now. Do I even lift? bruh i trane ufc

Good luck to all you money-hungry, selfish loners.
Thanks to the rest who've treated me nicely. You made Minetime worthwhile.

Submitting my final score. I would've passed the server probably around the time summer was over if I kept going strong.

It's sad to see another player leave :(
Hope you achieve well in life.
Also the fact you stated which was that the majority of people play skyblock, Factions and creative which is wrong. The server is mixed to be honest you have a mix of players on each part of Minetime. Minetime has skywars players, Op PVP players, pvpfest players, Factions players, creative players, infection players, Prison players, Creative players and survival players. Most of the parts of minetime have vast amounts of players on them just depends on the timezones. Though some parts of minetime has less players then others but that's just how it is :)
    Anyway good luck with life.
    -Kind regards Masterenderwolf.

No matter how you look at it.... Creative and factions has 4+ columns of people online.... Survival gets 2 at best... Infections is gone and I don't really know about sky wars.

Skywars can just get as many players as Factions. It generally gets 3-4 columns of people online but that's generally during American timezones. Infection had plenty of players when it was around. Trust me once infection is back up it'll have plenty of players on it. And survival and pvpfest tend to have lower numbers of people than other parts of minetime. But that's just how it is :)

Don't be too optimistic about Minetime. Y'know how it is. Once it starts to go down, it will continue. In fact, I've seen a rise in the number of 'leaving' threads and Threads about the server's condition which never happened last year when Minetime was prosperous with Emily still around and all. I'm not really positive about Minetime's future.

I understand where your going but people leave and go it's just how life is. People grow up and don't want to play anymore, have too much schoolwork, a job, family, perhaps someone special or even personal reasons all these are the main reasons people leave.

Although Minetime may have dropped a lot of players over the past year, I have seen a slight jump in players recently. It's not many, but it's an improvement.
I do have 100% faith that Minetime can still succeed, but only if a few changes are made. The most major change is Collin. Collin has pretty much disconnected himself from all of the staff (apart from Tyler), stopped working on the network and has pretty much just given it away to Tyler, which is not what Tyler wanted. He is trying his best to keep things running smoothly, but as we can all imagine, it would be quite difficult with next to no experience prior to Minetime in running a server and next to no help from the owner himself in a lot of things. If Collin decided to actually put a bit of time into the network, I don't think it is too late for Minetime to bloom again.
